About us:

Alterric develops, plans and manages wind farms. We are the largest onshore green electricity producer in Germany. Our aim is to ensure the renewable energies contribute to climate protection.

In charge of Alterric wind farms located in France, your mission is to optimize the availability and production of the assets, to guarantee their technical life cycle and their financial stability. In this dynamic context, we are looking for our Team Lead Technical Management Wind Energy (m/w/d) in Longueil, France.

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the technical management of Alterric´s wind turbines in France
  • Leading and developing the Operation Department of Alterric in France
  • Structuring a 24/7 on-call service and the TMA (Technical Management Agreement) for external clients
  • Correspondence with landowners, local authorities, service providers, grid operators and cooperation partners / co-investors 
  • Negotiating and regular review of operating service contracts with wind energy OEMs 
  • Responsibility for first level service activities, from remote monitoring of wind farms (in close cooperation with headquarter) to windfarm inspections on-site and management of lifecycle files
  • Responsibility for all activities related to the technical asset management – from order management, invoice verification, and contract management to claim management, negotiations and team development
  • Develop strategy to guarantee and to increase overall windfarm efficiency and production
  • Control of legal and formal requirements such as HSE, permit conditions, operators’ responsibilities and critical infrastructure in accordance with local legislation in close cooperation with headquarter functions 
  • Cooperation with the commercial wind farm management and other internal departments in France or Germany and monthly reporting (performance analysis, development of indicators)
  • Strategic plan for further development of technical management capabilities for the growing asset base in France and internationally
  • Establishing contact and follow-up of French Wind Energy Association (FEE) and French Renewable Energy Association (SER) recommendations
  • Occasional travel to production sites (site inspection, accompanying visits) in France or to headquarter in Germany
  • Reporting to the Director of Technical Asset Management in Germany

Your profile:

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Engineering or a comparable degree
  • More than five years of experience in technical management / asset management of wind turbines
  • Ability for leading and motivating a medium-sized team across France, leadership experience is a clear advantage
  • Knowledge of French regulations (especially ICPE) and wind energy standards
  • IT affinity and good knowledge of Scada systems
  • French (mother tongue or fluent in negotiations), English (technical), German is a plus 
  • Eager for knowledge of new technology and their benefits
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising safety
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, negotiation skills, assertiveness and communication skills
